Young people given opportunity to shape the future of transport |
||
Are you age 17 to 24 years old, or know someone who is? If so, then the PCC is calling on you!
Focused on reducing the harm too often caused on West Mercia’s roads, the PCC is giving young people the chance to take the wheel, change lanes, and steer the future of transport across the three counties.
To that end, he's contributed £8,000 towards the work of the Young Drivers’ Commission, which is calling on 17 to 24 year olds across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire to get involved.
The Commission wants to hear directly from young people - whether they’re learning to drive, already driving, relying on buses and trains, or getting lifts with friends - to see first‑hand where the challenges are. What works, what doesn’t, and what needs to change.
Applications are open until Friday 18 September: Young Drivers’ Commission – Leaders Unlocked.
